All domestic and commercial patios will need maintenance at somepoint in order to remain clear of dirt and look their best, especially in high volume areas such as hotels and golf clubs.

The large majority of these patio surfaces are laid using porous materials. These surfaces look great when freshly laid, however they can rapidly become dirty losing their visual appeal if not properly cared for.

It is this type of porous material that can easily succumb to the damp UK climate, two examples being 'block paving' and 'natural stone'. When properly maintained these surfaces will be vibrant and free from moss, algae and lichen spots.
